Being able to accept, embrace and celebrate natural aging

When browsing the web I came across an article that was followed by an interesting discussion. One of the bloggers mentioned that according to Google, he was not the first one to ask, "What has happened to Julia Ormond's face?" Nor will I, presumably, be the last one.

I liked the following reaction: "If you had Googled a little further, you would have found out that instead of spending the past ten years doing Pilates, attending Botox parties and undergoing cosmetic surgery, Julia Ormond has instead served as a partner to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, advocate for Transatlantic Partners Against AIDS, chairman of FilmAid International, council to the United States House of Representatives Committee on International Relations, and as United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. For starters". And he concludes by asking: "So, what have you done lately?" Well, here we come to the heart of the matter – Julia Ormond uses her fame to help others in the first place and that makes her so loved and admired by her fans.

Julia Ormond is 44.

Julia looks 44.

And, at 44 Julia is fan-fucking-tastic.

So for God's sake, stop pushing Julia into the ‘Hollywood vampire Botox herd’! Suck blood from those who care for it, who do want to wear the Botox mask because they don’t have their own opinions and just wish to blend with the crowd. No wonder she looked so different in the CBS pilot "Three Rivers", where the vampires from the TV series "Moonlight" moved under the guise of saving people.

I would like to end this contemplation by attaching one of the most beautiful images of Julia Ormond: "In full concentration on the Global Philanthropy Forum".
